Maths master

Today for maths I had a challenge, it was a escape room. I had to work out the maths problems, these problems were really hard so our teacher let us use a calculator. It was confusing to work out what the message said because some of the answers on the code box were wrong. I got help from my mum to work it out. This is what I think it says.

Did anyone else find some of the code wrong?

Week six reading task

Today for reading I was learning how to apply knowledge. I was reading about Orcas they aren't even whales they are the largest dolphins. They are in different cultures and teach their skills to the young.

Orca's are known to harm people and eat Blue whales. Some orcas live around our coastlines, it's important to know where they are so we can protect their habitat, which means where they live.

Did you know each year orcas get injured by boats. Some get stuck on the beach.

There was no whales on Scratch so I used a shark. I found it hard to make my game the thing I found really hard was sometimes I pressed buttons on accident and one time I made my fish invisible. I had to watch the youtube click over and over again step by step to get my game codes right. Here is my finished game I hope you like it.

Lockdown Journal

This week I have been working on my lockdown journal, I haven't finished it yet but I will keep on working on it.

I enjoyed doing the bubble profiles about my family, I used their favorite colours for their slides.

I hope you enjoy.

Maths challenge

This morning I completed two maths challenges, because the first one was easy so I challenged myself and did the next one, it was a bit harder. Next time I will try and get faster at the second set.

I only got 93% because I've missed the last questions.

Here is the next stage scoring

Out and about

This week we have been outside a lot because it's been sunny

I have done lots of things on this list, here are some pictures but I haven't finished yet.

There is a picture of a Ruru we spotted while out with the torch, we saw 4 possums and we went to the beach for a walk and picked up rubbish

Native Bush Scavenger Hunt

This week for inquiry we had a task to look on the Native Scavenger Hunt and answer questions about a native animal, I choose to learn about eels because we hunt eels to feed the family. Watch my slideshow right to the end to see a picture of me with  a eel I got.

My RE word cloud

This morning I watched Gospel recording according to John, I learnt that Jesus doesn't force people to be his disciples he lets them choose. I choose to follow Jesus because hes' a God, he's kind and loves everyone. I trust Jesus because he listens to peoples prayers.

These are some words that remind me of Jesus.
I found it challenging to make my word cloud and get all the words to fit into a shape and to pick the colours.

Maui found his father and the Magic Jawbone

This morning I created Maui's Magic Jawbone on Minecraft. I learnt that Maui's grandfather lived in the underworld,  I think underworld means under the world I think it would be a scary place to be.

I choose to created the Jawbone because it looks cool and it is very special, it was handled by the underground God it is very powerful.

My learning object shows I can create Maui's Jawbone on Minecraft.
