summer learning

To day we were learning about summer learning we were colouring in  on summer learning I in joyed coloring in the bit that I did not like was when you are looking for good pitchers

 Today for learning we were learning  how to talk about characters I found fun  finding the picture for the back round I found hard looking for the words I hope you like it.

Marble Maze Activity

 Today I made a marble maze in Minecraft, We were in bubble school. I had so much fun, In class we did not have enough LEGO so I used Minecraft instead.

Let's learn Tongan

 This week is Tongan language week. I was learning easy Tongan sayings. Here are a few I learnt, I might add more during the week. 

Why dogs are better than cats

Today I was learning how to write a persuasive piece of writing why dogs are better than cats. persuasive means you are trying to convince the person to like something you like or think. 

I enjoyed writing this because I love dogs and cats, but dogs can go pig  hunting and I love pig hunting.

Cats vs Dogs

 This week for reading and writing I was learning how to write an argument about what I think is better, Cats or Dogs. I found it hard to choose which one I liked better because I love them both and I have cats and dogs at home. I choose to do dogs because I brainstormed in my head and thought dogs had more skills like hunting. I love hunting.

How I have done this week.

 This week I have been trying really hard to get my work done. My mum has been helping me with my learning so I can get more points.  So I can trade them in for tokens when I get back to school. I have completed all the ones with stars on. I am upto 55 points this week. I have done my father's day card but it won't publish till Sunday.

Protech maths 5 Minute challenge

 Today I am still working on stage 4 and I done some time table ones too. I am going to keep trying they are still a bit hard.

Bouncing egg

For science our class did a experiment  on a bouncing egg. My experiment didn't work, it just flopped on the grass and broke.  I think the egg was to fresh from our chickens, lucky I didn't bounce it on the deck.

Today for maths I was learning how to fill out a multiplication table. I have only done the times table I know, I will add more when I know them.

Today for reading I was  learning how to write a letter to a penpal. I chose Jackson because he is my good friend.

August reflection

 Here is my August reflection.

St Herburt

 For RE we are learning about different Saints, I chose St Herburt because he's the patron saint of hunting  and  I love hunting. I have also chosen him to be my saint for conformation.

Today for reading we were learning about the Paralympic games here are my facts I enjoy getting the facts 

Maths master

 Today for maths I had a challenge, it was a escape room. I had to work out the maths problems, these problems were really hard so our teacher let us use a calculator. It was confusing to work out what the message said because some of the answers on the code box were wrong. I got help from my mum to work it out. This is what I think it says.

Did anyone else find some of the code wrong?

Week six reading task

Today for reading I was learning how to apply knowledge. I was reading about Orcas they aren't even whales they are the largest dolphins. They are in different cultures and teach their skills to the young. 

Orca's are known to harm people and eat Blue whales. Some orcas live around our coastlines, it's important to know where they are so we can protect their habitat, which means where they live.

Did you know each year orcas get injured by boats. Some get stuck on the beach. 

There was no whales on Scratch so I used a shark. I found it hard to make my game the thing I found really hard was sometimes I pressed buttons on accident and one time I made my fish invisible. I had to watch the youtube click over and over again step by step to get my game codes right. Here is my finished game I hope you like it.  

Lockdown Journal

 This week I have been working on my lockdown journal, I haven't finished it yet but I will keep on working on it.

I enjoyed doing the bubble profiles about my family, I used their favorite colours for their slides.
